C2C is a five-week behavior installation program that turns avoidance defaults into proactive, courageous conversations — especially upward, especially under pressure. Built on the State → Story → Clearing model and the six-step Clearing Method. Calibrated for matrixed, high-accountability cultures.
Most programs train communication frameworks. The real issue isn't knowledge — it's execution under pressure. The conversations that should move performance forward don't happen when they need to, and by the time the issue surfaces, the damage is already done.
Every program component — sessions, curriculum, Habit Builder, Debrief — is calibrated to produce this single behavior. Not awareness of it. Not understanding of it. The behavior itself, performed reliably when it matters most.
"Managers proactively initiate clear, honest, and value-adding conversations upward and across teams — especially under pressure."
Three layers operating in sequence. The model isn't taught as a framework — participants experience each layer as a distinct shift in how they show up in conversations. If the state is closed, no method will land. If the story is unowned, no technique will hold. Execution is the third move, not the first.
"Can I stay present under pressure?"
Regulation. The ability to remain open rather than reactive when the conversation gets uncomfortable. State is the precondition for everything that follows.
"What am I making this mean?"
Thinking. The interpretation a leader places on events — and whether that interpretation opens or closes the path to courageous action. Owning the story before walking into the room.
"Can I execute this conversation with clarity and care?"
Execution. The structured method for initiating and navigating a courageous conversation — without triggering defensiveness or losing the relationship. Six steps, three movements.
The behavior stack: State → Story → Clearing
The Clearing Method is the conversational structure participants use in any courageous conversation — upward, lateral, or direct. It's introduced in the Kickoff, drilled in the Mid Session, and installed as habit through the 28-day cycle.
Most courage programs are imported wholesale from frameworks built for direct-feedback cultures. They land flat — or worse, they backfire — in the Philippines and across SEA. C2C is built differently. It surfaces the cultural strengths leaders already carry and names the derailers that silence them.
"Fish don't know they're in water."Module 1 · Lesson 1.1
The curriculum runs as the microlearning layer between live sessions and continues into the Habit Builder. Each module anchors to a specific layer of the model — Module 1 frames the choice, Module 2 builds the State and Conversation skill, Module 3 does the Story work, Module 4 powers the 28-day habit.
Twenty lessons across the four modules. Sequenced to feed the live sessions: Modules 1–2 before Kickoff, Module 3 anchors the Mid Session, Module 4 powers the 28-day Habit Builder.
Phase 0 surfaces the conversation breakdowns that actually exist in the cohort. Phase 1 installs the behavior across five weeks. Phase 2 turns it into habit through 28 days of real conversations. Phase 3 closes the proof arc.
Before any session runs, we identify the actual conversation breakdowns — the meetings where silence costs, the upward conversations that get deferred, the cross-functional friction that compounds. These become the case material for the program.
Three live sessions across five weeks. ACAF design throughout — 30% content, 50% application, 20% commitment. Microlearning between sessions reinforces what was introduced live. Each session builds on real conversations participants are attempting between sessions.
Each participant leaves Wrap-Up with a specific 28-day commitment — a trigger, a current behavior to interrupt, and a new behavior to install. Focus: initiating real conversations, speaking up earlier, applying the Clearing Method in live situations. Behavioral frequency tracked throughout.
The Debrief follows the structure: What happened / What worked / What didn't / What changed. The cohort holds up the mirror — and decides what comes next: double down, double back, or double click. The engagement always closes with a decision, not a slide.
From baseline pulse data to the Debrief delta, the chain makes the behavioral shift visible and verifiable — not assumed. The arc is a mirror, not a slide deck. The value to the organization is a visible behavioral shift in their leaders.
Phase 0. Where the conversation behavior stands before the program begins. The official "before."
Phase 1, Weeks 1–5. Behavioral attempts during the program — early evidence of the new pattern emerging under facilitation.
Phase 2. 28-day behavioral frequency data. The first real mirror of execution patterns post-program.
Phase 3. Behavioral delta surfaced and reflected upon. The arc closes with a decision, not a report.
Every C2C engagement runs the full four-phase cadence and the 28-day Habit Builder. The tier choice is about cohort count, depth of measurement infrastructure, and what gets handed back to the organization at the end.
